Last October 24, SCIENCE@WORK had the pleasure of supporting and participating in the official launch of the SingularityU chapter in the city of Betim, Minas Gerais - one of the 100 largest cities in Brazil, nationally recognized for being a manufacturing hub.

The city hall's auditorium - the venue for this first event - was completely crowded with over 400 people. The initiative was attended by government officials such as the mayor and deputy mayor of the city and the undersecretary of state represented the Minas Gerais governor.

The president of SCIENCE@WORK, César Guimarães, was one of the speakers, and shared with a closely interested audience his views about smarter teams and the possibilities of better management through technology.
